    Civil Rights Journey

    October 31,– November 03, 2024

This Civil Rights journey uses the history, sites, and current issues as a springboard to highlight the relationship, and at times, the tension, of the Jewish and American identity. The journeys are a mix of fun, sightseeing, education, and meetings with organizations and people who have been and are still involved in creating America.

In addition we will also discuss Jewish involvement in the Movement and how our Passover story correlates so strongly with the Civil Rights story.

By visiting the Equal Justice Initiative, you will understand that Civil Rights is not an issue that only impacted a specific people in the 1950's & 60's, but remains an ongoing issue today, and being fought for by a variety of groups that have not felt that they had a voice in the world.

Cities visited include Montgomery, Selma, and Birmingham, Alabama.

The price includes hotels, ground transportation admissions and programming costs. It also includes all meals (beginning on Friday breakfast and ending with Sunday breakfast), Sunday lunch not included.

    Cost for a Couple: $2470.00 For a Single: $1490.00

Airfare to ATL is not included.

Deposits must be received by July 15th.
